For The Love Of The Children, Episode 2: 07.17.13 - 07.21.13

Podcast Powered By Podbean

Last week came and went without me finishing episode 1, part 2... Sorry about that, guys. However, I finished this one just in time to have to lop off the first segment that covered Tuesday's show at the Zoo Amphitheater.

There are a lot of good bands playing during the timeframe of this week's show, though.

Here are the bands that we're playing on this episode:

Sauna

Hockey

Swimm

ASG

Self-Evident - "Holding On" - Live @ The Conservatory, 06.29.13

So we caught a good chunk of Traindodge's release show for their new album, Supernatural Disasters. Luckily, for everyone, Self-Evident came down from Minneapolis for the show.

You can check out more of Self-Evident at their website, self-evident.net

I believe most of their recorded material is also available on Spotify.

I got most of their set, though! So subscribe to make sure you don't miss out on any more of their videos from this set! You should also like it, and share it, and stuff.

This video was taken when Found Footage opened up for the Traindodge "Supernatural Disasters" album release show.

Don't let the subpar audio fool you, Found Footage is an awesome band with a great sound. I didn't make it into the venue until after they'd started playing, and didn't get to set up my audio recorder. Thus, we're stuck with the muddy directional mic attached to the camera and my crap job of cleaning up the audio.

I have more Found Footage to come, but, if you just can't wait, check them out here: http://dusthousestudio.bandcamp.com/a...

I've also got some of Self-Evident's set, and most of Traindodge's... and the audio quality for their sets is much higher, so... SUBSCRIBE!

And share. Do that, too.

For The Love Of The Children, Ep. 1, Pt. 1

Hey dudes!
I have proof that Oklahoma is both cool and not cool.
It’s all here in my new podcast (which is a day late).
It’s focused on musicians playing in Oklahoma during a semi-weekly timeframe.
It’s pretty simple. I gave myself one rule: play a song by every band that’s got a show in Oklahoma… if they’ve got a show, they’re on the show.
It’s pretty eclectic. It leads to mixed results.
But hey! I’m going to get turned on to awesome bands and shows that I didn’t know about! And, if you keep listening, you will too!
Oh, and the music in the background while I’m talking is by Pillowcase Sleep Assist.
If you’ve got a show that you want to make sure we know about, email us!
